Amazon Locker is a service that allows you to make purchases on Amazon and to choose as a shipping address a self-service pick-up point in your neighborhood, with the possibility to collect the package in full autonomy and within three days of receipt. How Amazon Locker works
Amazon Locker is a free service that Amazon makes available to all its customers. It has no activation cost but can only be used for products shipped from Amazon: items purchased on the well-known Jeff Bezos store but sold and shipped by third parties are not eligible for delivery with this system.
Regarding shipping times and costs: if you are an Amazon Prime customer, you can choose free shipping within 1 business day. If you do not have a Prime subscription, instead, you will have to pay shipping costs, which vary depending on the case: 0 euros for orders over 29 euros with standard shipping; € 3.99 to € 5 for fast shipping within 2-5 working days; 5.99 euros for shipping in 2 days and 8 euros for shipping in 1 day.
At the moment, Amazon Lockers can hold packages of 42 x 35 x 32 cm and a maximum weight of 4.5 kg. Packages of greater size and weight are not eligible for Amazon Locker delivery.

At the time of writing this guide, Amazon Locker self-service collection points are available at numerous Unes and Pam Panorama supermarkets and at selected shopping centers.
To find out which Amazon Locker point is closest to you, connect to the Amazon site and click on Login, then enter your login information in the fields Email address or mobile number and Password and press the Login button to make login. Now, click on the Account and list item and select the Addresses item, then click on the Add address option, find the message To add a pick-up point or Amazon Locker and press on the item here.
In the Search for a pick-up point near you section, check the box next to one of the options between Search by address, Search by zip code, or Search by reference point and, in the appropriate field, type the address, zip code or reference point you want to use for the search. Finally, click on the Search button to view the map of withdrawal points and Amazon Locker points in your area and, above all, the list (in order of proximity) with all the details such as address and opening hours of each point withdrawal.

You can click on the Detailed map item to view the pick-up point map in detail, while pressing the Select address button you can add the pick-up point to the addresses associated with your account. In addition, in the Addresses section, you can set the Amazon Locker collection point as the default shipping address for your purchases by clicking on the Set as default option.

After making sure you have an Amazon Locker point in your area, you can proceed with your purchases, select the collection point of interest and, in the following days, go in person to the chosen point to collect your products. Here is the whole procedure to follow in detail.

To proceed with the purchase of a product, connected to the Amazon site and if you have not already done so, proceed with the login by pressing the Login button and entering your details in the fields E-mail address or mobile number and Password. Then identify the item you wish to purchase and press the Add to cart button on the product description, then click on the shopping cart icon at the top right and press the Proceed to order button.
In the Select a delivery address section, press the Delivery button to this address related to the Amazon Locker point you previously added to your address list, otherwise click on the item Search for a pick-up point near you, check the next to one of the options between Search by address, Search by zip code or Search by reference, type your address, the zip code of your city or a landmark (for example, Statue of Liberty) in the appropriate field and click on the Search button.

Now, click on the Send to this address related to the Amazon Locker item of interest and make sure that the items you want to buy are compatible with Amazon Locker shipping: if after selecting the pick-up point you will see the red text Important message means that one or more items are not eligible for Amazon Locker and you must select a different delivery address or remove the item from the cart by clicking on Delete.
Then proceed with choosing the type of shipping and select a valid payment method, then press the Buy Now button and you’re done.
Through the Amazon application for Android devices, iOS and Windows 10 Mobile you can place an order and request delivery at an Amazon Locker point also from smartphones and tablets. Download and install the Amazon app on your device, then find the item you want to buy and add it to your cart. Now, tap the shopping cart icon at the top right and click on Proceed to order, then select the address of the Amazon Locker of your interest and presses the button Delivery to this address.

If you have not yet added an Amazon Locker address to your addresses, instead presses the option Send to a pick-up point, in the Search by address, zip code or reference field type your address, zip code or a reference point of your city and tap the Search button to view the list of Amazon Lockers in your area. Alternatively, click on a circle icon and allow Amazon to access your current location to view the Amazon Lockers closest to you.
How to make a withdrawal at Amazon Lockers

After placing an order on Amazon, when it will be delivered to the selected Amazon Locker, you will receive an email containing a unique 6-character code and all the instructions necessary for the withdrawal.
Then go to the Amazon Locker you indicated for delivery and press on the screen to start the withdrawal procedure, then enter the unique code or scan the barcode received via email (including via your smartphone): the message Code accepted it will confirm the correct insertion of the code and in automatic it will open the compartment where your package is contained. So withdraw the Amazon package, remember to close the door and you’re done.
As mentioned above, you must know that from the moment you receive the delivery email, you have three days to collect the package, after which the latter will return to Amazon and a full refund will be made automatically.
